These resin figures of female soldiers, in addition to the figures I made before, I had a sudden passion for figures at the end of last year, and even assembled them, but I left them for a long time. If I leave it as it is, it will become a cat toy, so I wanted to finish it well, so I took a brush recently.
I blew the skin color.
I was thinking of painting the same color at the same time, but if I focus on one, I might be able to finish it smoothly in the end. Is this a matter of taste? I get tired of the figures I made in the past if they are the same, so I change the color of the clothes a little.
They are all about 5 centimeters in size, so it is hard to paint them finely. The skin part is oil painted, and the others are made of Vallejo and Tamiya enamel. If I make it all at once, it will be a lot of work.
This is a resin figure from Taisho Modeling, a Russian female tank soldier named Natalia. I bought two of them together before, and the one wearing the military uniform is the other figure I completed before. This item is wearing a white tank top, so it is slightly more exposed. The braided hair is somewhat old-fashioned.
Nut Planet female figure, it was titled Overwacher. I could choose a gun or a rifle, so it said sniper, but I chose a gun this time. I don’t know her nationality, but she is dressed in a modern style. The mold of this figure’s face is not so deep, so I don’t know how to draw eyes. Not with a soldier’s face? It’s kind of cute.
Evolution Miniature female soldier resin figure. It says Woman Commisar 1917. The revolutionary fighters of the October Revolution in Russia in 1917. I made the same model before, so I painted the coat and skirt in different colors. For the face, the mold was firm and it was relatively easier to paint than other figures.
This is also Nut Planet female figure called LUCY Russian Sniper. She has a good style and her hair fluttering in the wind is lively. The arms and legs are thin and the rifle is small, so it’s hard to assemble. The barrel of the gun was broken and I replaced it with another one. I think this is the sexiest of the five figures I made this time. I wanted to paint the face with a sexy look, but I couldn’t paint it well because there wasn’t much mold, probably because of the characteristics of Nut Planet.
I bought it more than 3 years ago, so I forget, but it was probably Yufan Model. U.S. Army, female paratrooper medic. I don’t think there were any female paratroopers around the time of World War II, so it must be fiction. Recently, since 2015, the U.S. military has opened all occupations to women, and paratroopers are also active. This figure was small and I had to glue a lot of parts together, which was hard. The paint itself is just like a regular WWII paratrooper, so I didn’t think to choose colors too much worried.
I think I’ll make a big plane next time because I’ve done detailed work.
