This French tank kit was completed in December 2007.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 BOX PACKAGEThis time, I chose the French tank B1bis, released about one year ago.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 MAKINGI assembled this kit without having a complicated process. It is a gentle kit for the beginner. The assembly of the caterpillar was completed in about 30 minutes, too. Some maniac modelers cut down the caterpillar side one by one thinly.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 MAKINGOnly it was lightly removed down because there was a pin mark in one piece of each caterpillar part.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 MAKING FRENCH TANK CREWFrench tank soldier’s helmet was valued on a 1/35 scale and reproduced with epoxy putty. I made the leather strip of the helmet with plastic paper. You can see points under one’s nose when expanding in the photograph. I think that I bury it with the instant adhesive before painting it.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 PAINTINGIt is a basic painting. After blowing the green with the airbrush, dark yellow was painted with the brush. Irregular brush marks have remained in some places. The caterpillar is glaring because I painted it with semi-gloss black.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOI suppose that many tank model fans have already made Tamiya B1 bis. The form of French tanks is peculiar, different from German and Soviet ones. It is an easy kit, and a beginner can complete it efficiently.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOArms are 75mm tank gun, 47mm tank gun, and 7.5mm machine gun. This tank had as much as 60mm front armor; it was impossible to have defeated by the 37mm anti-tank gun of the German army’s main force at that time.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOI decided on this tank Marking “Bourrasque” tank number 257, 2nd Section, 1st Company, 15th Combat Tank Battalion, 2nd Armored Division in France 1940.
I like this front cat mark and the heart mark on the side turret. By the way, “Bourrasque” means the gust of wind or the flurry of wind. It is a flurry, though the speed is only 28km per hour.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOThe big chain became the accent of considerably good feeling.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOAfter basic painting, I slightly washed and changed the tone with the pastel not to become monotonous.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTO FRENCH TANK CREWThe French tank soldier wears a leather coat, and the expression of the feeling of quality is complicated. I have drawn his eyes large this time. Too big…

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTO FRENCH TANK CREWWhen marking is put by a decal fit as the brush irregularity leaves, it becomes uneven. It will stand out more when rubbed with the pastel.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOOnly the lens in the front was used for the clearing parts, though it did not prosper much because it was the same painting as box art.

B1-BIS FRENCH TANK TAMIYA 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOI could assemble it quickly and enjoyed it very much. Unusual shape finished being skilled, and I enjoyed this kit.
