It is an antiaircraft vehicle of the US Marine Corps. I built it from February to March 2009.
It is an antiaircraft armament equipment type of LAV series. These are mainly deployed to US Marine Corps.
The under the chassis is a complex feature of the eight-wheel. Additionally, it is an amphibian motor car; it equips the screws and rudders on both sides.

I can quickly assemble this kit for moderate amounts of photo-etched parts. There is no need to adjust the upper and lower body assembly; it is excellent fitting.
Jerrican on the back door is from an accessories kit of Tamiya.
He is one of the Dragon U.S. TANK CREW sets. Such a tank soldier’s injection kit is rare and valuable.

LAV is a Light Armored Vehicle, developed as a combat vehicle for the urgently dispatched forces. The crew is three people.
It is an amphibious vehicle, and it is possible to move at 100km per hour on the road and 10km per hour on the water. Two screws are attached to the back. I equipped five 25mm Gatling gun barrels and four stingers surface-to-air missile rocket launchers; you can choose various armaments. It is the mix of armaments that can target from long distances to close-in.
The length between the tire is close. I suppose it’s for the ability to run on a bad road.
After I had painted them orange and Silver, I painted a clear coat to make them shiny. I think from this angle; it is the best shot.
I suppose the decals of the small words should have been pasted on the clear surface to prevent silvering.
I did a little weathering on the window for natural taste.
I think the surface becomes dirty when walking on the upper surface with boots. There was a photo that I couldn’t see, the basic painting with a dust-covered Gulf War.
This kit was very interesting because I could assemble many armaments.

I am interested in models of tanks, airplanes, ships, military figures, I build them little by little when I feel like it. I am also interested in the history of war. My starting is Tamiya’s Military Miniature series in elementary school.
From elementary school through university students repeatedly suspend and restart my modeling, it’s about 25 years of this hobby’s history.
From February 2007 I was quietly doing a site called “Miniature-Arcadia”. It is being transferred to this blog with the same name from December 2016. My update pace is uneven, but please come to see me here occasionally.
