Caterpillar is partly jointed. It is built from April to June 2009. It is a Semovente, and Tamiya released some parts renewal.
Semovente was released at the end of last year with a minor change to set up new figures and some new parts.

Precise quality was increased compared to the old parts, such as shovels and jacks.
I should have painted on the fender in the room part. I forgot about it.
The Italian tank soldier puts on a leather coat. I installed the photo-etched parts of the machine gun aiming.

Semovente is the first self-propelled armored artillery of the Italian army. It has been received the influence the design of German Sturmgeschutz III. At that time, Semovente received the appraisal of the most substantial tank of an Italian army.
Since this vehicle was in north Africa, I made sandy weathering.
The caterpillar of Semovente is the small one without so much convexo-concave. It melted when Ｉ used a decal fit for the number plate decal. I touch up the side with rusty painting.
The aim of the Breda machine gun is the photo-etched parts included in this kit.
The tank soldier wears a coat of black leather. Can you see this person like the Italian? An Italian army used helmets with the feature. There were three crew in this tank, and the commander had to have the role of loader and radio person simultaneously.
The jerrican color was changed one by one for the variation.
I put out the discoloration feeling of the desert to do the washing and pastel painting.
Marking was one of the North African fronts. I slid the mark upward, avoiding hide behind the jerrican.
The iron plate became hot burnt to make fried eggs in North Africa. I like the natural pose figure attached to this kit.
I’m worried about the kit’s total balance of mixed old and new parts. But the final impression is excellent, like all renewal kits.
At last, I was able to complete it. I knew only the name of Semovente for a long time with the most helpful AFV in the Italian army tank.

I am interested in models of tanks, airplanes, ships, military figures, I build them little by little when I feel like it. I am also interested in the history of war. My starting is Tamiya’s Military Miniature series in elementary school.
From elementary school through university students repeatedly suspend and restart my modeling, it’s about 25 years of this hobby’s history.
From February 2007 I was quietly doing a site called “Miniature-Arcadia”. It is being transferred to this blog with the same name from December 2016. My update pace is uneven, but please come to see me here occasionally.
