Planning to visit directly from Dulles Airport is one of the best options. The fee is $1.75. It’s more time around 90 minutes from central Washington, DC, using the subway and bus.
Since the hotel was the Hilton in the center, the way to the hotel was long by train and bus. The only route983 goes to Udvar-Hazy Center. There are many buses on weekdays and weekends.

In the main building of the National Air and Space Museum in the park at the center, there are many but many panel exhibitions. Moreover, it’s pretty crowded. I prefer the Udvar-Hazy Center. I don’t get tired even if I’m probably here for one day. This time was the travel with my wife, who is not a modeler, and military items and airplane fan. So it’s impossible for one day. A visit to a museum wasn’t the primary purpose of this trip, so, unfortunately, I couldn’t see around for a long time.

I am interested in models of tanks, airplanes, ships, military figures, I build them little by little when I feel like it. I am also interested in the history of war. My starting is Tamiya’s Military Miniature series in elementary school.
From elementary school through university students repeatedly suspend and restart my modeling, it’s about 25 years of this hobby’s history.
From February 2007 I was quietly doing a site called “Miniature-Arcadia”. It is being transferred to this blog with the same name from December 2016. My update pace is uneven, but please come to see me here occasionally.
