A kit with the theme of the battle on the Pacific islands against Japan. It is a set of four US Marines.
There is no color designation number or paint type at all. I have to search for something.
The parts of the head look excellent.
This Marine Corps figure kit has many poses holding rifles in both hands, so it will be difficult to paint when glued, so I’ll attach it later.

In addition to scoops, they have the Matchet knife at the waist belt as they cut through the jungle. They are equipped with many spare ammunition pouches and so on. There is no part to lower the Matchet. They are bonded to the side of the body. Anyway, there are many types of equipment.
Some soldiers are hanging grenades on the suspenders of their shoulders.
The figure of a US Marine Corps soldier patrolling in the jungle has been completed.
WWII US Marine Corps uniform painted, military uniforms used Vallejo’s #924, Russian Army uniform color. The recommended color was Vallejo’s Brown Violet #887. The belt that holds the equipment and the rucksack seems to be a slightly darker green.
Only the rifle straps were painted brown. The model would not be good-looking if it were all green.
The atmosphere of the battle in the jungle of the southern island.
The radio is the type SCR-300 that he carries on his shoulder. I didn’t know where to hold the handset while moving, so I hooked it sideways.
I purchased a Paradox game called Stellaris at a Steam sale. A strategy game theme is in space. It is the same as other games of the Paradox games when I start to learn the rules, it’s too funny and the time goes by. I just started a little. I still do not know the essence. If you’re not careful, it’s likely to be as addictive as Civilization. It contains an ancient alien like James P. Hogan’s SF novel “Inherit the Stars” series.

I suddenly realized that compared to the box picture, I thought it would be better not to tighten the chin strap of the helmet but to hang it from around both ears. It feels like a battle in a hot jungle.

I am interested in models of tanks, airplanes, ships, military figures, I build them little by little when I feel like it. I am also interested in the history of war. My starting is Tamiya’s Military Miniature series in elementary school.
From elementary school through university students repeatedly suspend and restart my modeling, it’s about 25 years of this hobby’s history.
From February 2007 I was quietly doing a site called “Miniature-Arcadia”. It is being transferred to this blog with the same name from December 2016. My update pace is uneven, but please come to see me here occasionally.
