I made it in October 2008.
This kit has many parts, and the required chassis is assembled. But with the detailed real car explanation and assembly explanation, Tasca is a reliable plastic model company. It seems I can complete it with careful assembly.
I heard that this kit was long-awaited by Sherman fans. As of today, that kind of people cut and joint, joint, and cut various kits and bought many garage kits.

I was surprised there were four belt caterpillars. I thought of the two pieces since I was accustomed to the Tamiya kit.

The rivet of the trank roller is like garbage apart from the runner. There was a piece of advice about 12 trank rollers, saying, “Applying to the detail improvement separating the rivet taken to the runner might be good.” I put up 12 rivets to 12 circles each and 144 pieces.

Only I could assemble the wheels, but a sense of accomplishment arose since it was challenging work. I took a picture of the commemoration here.
(2008/10/13)
Temporarily assembled in good condition. Each part’s quality is excellent.
(2008/10/13)
This part will almost be invisible when usually assembled, even if the sound quality photo-etched parts.
I bond the caterpillar without floating while holding the space with the toothpick.
(2008/10/19)
I was able to make the photo-etched parts light guard very well. A Jig made of plastic parts was attached, and all modelers could easily shape them.
There are a lot of detailed parts under the back of the body.
Almost parts joints were excellent. It’s not necessary to adjust because the parts match each other without being too loose or tight.
(2008/10/25)
I loaded luggage from the accessories set of Tamiya.
Like camp tools such as a bucket, jerrican, canvas seats, and field bags of fold type.
(2008/10/26)
The primary painting color was olive drab. To apply the change a little since it was only one color. I expressed light and shade with the airbrush.
(2008/11/01)
All parts are painted but before weathering.

Firefly installed a British army 17-pound antitank cannon on the usual Sherman turret, if I can say simple explanation. Since the 17-pound antitank cannon was the only weapon to defeat Tiger and Panter’s front armor, the British forced the cannon on Sherman.
This tank has played an important role in combat since Normandy. Germany was beware of Firefly, and they gave priority more than other Sherman, and almost every time, Firefly was under attack first.
Since the turret of Sherman is too small for 17-pound artillery, the wireless machine installation space is lost. A big box attached behind is connected with the turret on the inside and placed the wireless machine.
Because it was a mono-color paint, I changed the coloring a little.
I did the washing and rubbed the pastel on the chassis. The belt-type caterpillar is of excellent quality.
The head was exchanged for the resin, and I added the headphone code. I suppose this facial expression is very natural.
What feeling is it that four crews live in the tank while moving the front?
The square hatch for a gunner is the original Firefly. I attached the small searchlight.
The real AFV’s OVE was painted in the same body color. But the effect of showing, it’s better to paint a different color.
At first, I started assembling, but I didn’t have any emotion for Firefly. After completing all, it looks very reliable tank and good-looking!
