Light Cruiser Kumano Imperial Japanese Navy Tamiya 1/700

The light cruiser Kumano of Tamiya is to be assembled. It is a heavily armed light cruiser equipped with 5 x 15.5 cm triple-gun as the main armor. It is the 4th of the Mogami class cruisers. Later, work to replace the 15.5-cm triple-gun turret with a 20.3-cm double-gun turret was carried out.

Destroyer Hibiki 1941 Imperial Japanese Navy Yamashita Hobby 1/700

This time I will try to build a destroyer for the Imperial Japanese Navy for the first time in a long time. I built this kit to the deck attachment and left it for a long time. Once I got the etched parts ready and started assembling them, the matching of the parts was slightly different, so what? When I thought about it, the etched parts were not for Hibiki 1941 but for Hibiki 1945 and Ikazuchi 1944. The outfitting must have changed a lot since the beginning of the war and 1944. As a beginner ship modeler, it was difficult to get the parts together.

Aircraft Carrier Taiho 1944 Imperial Japanese Navy Fujimi 1/700

It's been a while since I built a warship of the Japanese Imperial Navy. This aircraft carrier, Taiho, was in a Fujimi lucky bag at the end of 2017. I have never made a kit of Taiho or a regular aircraft carrier, so I will do my best to complete it.

Battleship Musashi Fune-Next Fujimi 1/700

It is Fujimi's battleship, Musashi 1/700 scale. Because there were no parts to make a waterline in the full hull model, I cut and pasted plastic plates to cover the bottom.

Destroyer Ayanami 1941 Imperial Japanese Navy Yamashita Hobby 1/700

The shape of this destroyer Ayanami is beautiful. I made Yamashita Hobby's destroyer kit. The destroyer had no Chrysanthemum emblem on it, but I think its work is nothing but fighting spirit. I pray for the souls of the fallen heroes who were defending Japan.

Heavy Cruiser Chokai 1942 Imperial Japanese Navy Fujimi 1/700

The heavy cruiser Chokai has been completed. Chokai is the 4th of Takao-class heavy cruiser. The ship's name comes from Mount Chokai on the border of Akita and Yamagata prefectures in northern Japan. This Fujimi Chokai kit, including its etched parts, I had a hard struggle. When I finish it, It has a sense of precision and looks cool.

Aircraft Carrier Hosho 1944 Imperial Japanese Navy Fujimi 1/700

Fujimi's aircraft carrier Hosho was built. That said, a few years ago I completed the Hosho parts, which was included in the kit for outfitting the Yamato, a disappointing 1/700 lucky bag. I used a special etched part. I can't believe that the etched parts of Fujimi's ship model are so scarce. It's OK if third parties provide us with more and better products.

Battleship Yamashiro 1944 Imperial Japanese Navy Aoshima 1/700

The Aoshima Battleship Yamashiro was made with special etched parts from the same manufacturer. I am thankful that it comes with a deck seal. The sandbags are piled up around the anti-aircraft machine gun during the naval battle off the coast of Leyte and it gives me a sense of presence.

Battleship Yamato 1941 Imperial Japanese Navy Fujimi 1/700

I built the battleship Yamato when it was commissioned in 1941 by Fujimi. When I bought Fujimi's ship's lucky bag, the first ship outfitting set was sent to me, so I decided to try it out. For God's sake, Fujimi, I want them to distribute more etched parts. There is no point in the premium.
