MUNCHKIN

It's Munchkin Chai. I just became two years old in January 2021. Chai may look a little chubby, but his belly is loose-skinned and has an important role in moving quickly and protecting vital parts. Only the belly is slightly long hair.

He is now very friendly and has become a cat that often rides on my knees. I thought my cat would hate me because I cut his nails every two weeks and sometimes clean his ears.

My cat, Munchkin Chai, loves a string toy and a ball since he was a kitten. So I made a felt ball with wool felt and felt puncher, which is tools like needles to harden things.

He is Munchkin Chai who has been treating cat mold since July and August. I was taking itraconazole every day until August. The symptoms have improved since September, so I reduced the medication to twice a week. He is getting better.

He's a male Munchkin. When he came to my house, his nose, ears, and neck, arms, and stomach were damaged by cat mold. I thought it was a kitten with a very troublesome disease. Treating patiently.

As for the castration operation, this kitten is already over 5 months old, and the testicles have come down sufficiently, so the operation is possible. I had a detailed discussion with the veterinarian and had a blood test a week ago. There was no abnormality, so I performed the operation as scheduled. The probability is small, but general anesthesia seems to be more dangerous.

My cat is now 2.4 kg after 5 months. When he came here, his weight was about 1kg, so I was surprised that he would grow this much in 2 months. As for castration surgery, I was told to wait and see a little more because some kittens have not had their testicles down yet. His testicles are getting better.

I thought the jumping power of the Munchkin is limited because its legs are short, but I bought a cat tower as it has a lot of exercises and jumps high. Photos of the assembly process are shown.

It's too difficult for a beginner to have a kitten with fungus. It is hair-cutting everywhere on his body. When I welcomed the kitten in early April, it was 1.2 kg, but now it's 1.6 kg. I think it has become heavy recently even if I sit on my knees.

This kitten, Munchkin Chai, had a skin problem in his nose and ears before coming to our house. He's still under treatment. I think he has recovered, the part where he had peeled off seems to be slightly growing hair. Did he peel it off because of stress? I hope he gets better soon.

It's been cold for the past few days, so I left the cat living room on the heater, but now it's coming into the double bed we're sleeping in. He seems to know the good heat insulation performance of the down quilt. Chai urinates properly in the toilet, so it's okay for now.

I couldn't share it with human tableware forever, so I bought cat-only dishes. I heard that Nekoichi's food bowl and water bowl are standard among cat owners. Since we came all the way here, we chose the special version of 2019 with a painting of Mt. Fuji.

I started keeping a cat. He has very short legs. Even though it is the first day, he is very sweet-like. It's probably because the breeder grew them without fear of humans. It is soaked in solid total nutritional food and mixed with half-kneaded feed.
