The mold of the figure’s clothes looks rather sloppy, perhaps because he is wearing a warm outfit or because of how the shooting rays look.
I sometimes used the etched parts of Aber’s small fire sling when making figures. This time, the Dragon kit includes the parts for the gun belt. Even without parts, I sometimes make gun belts out of various materials, such as copy paper soaked with instant glue, ultra-thin plastic sheets, and fishing board weights.
I attached a firearm sling. Some are fine parts of the Aber with metal brackets attached, but they are so delicate. I’m afraid it won’t show much after it’s painted.
I also assembled what appeared to be Panzerfaust safety pins and their storage boxes. It would be interesting to have some accessories.
As I mentioned above, the uniforms of the German infantry at the end of World War II were uneven, and the atmosphere was good, but it was challenging to paint them because various paints were used. It is very different from the German tank crew.
I stuck quite a few Panzerfaust cautionary decals on it. I like these because they give me more precision.

The figures of the Totenkopf Division have been completed.
It was probably a fight in Budapest, in the rubble, so I stained the uniform quite a bit. The white snowsuit also got dirty, but I can’t recognize it from the picture.
They don’t all wear the same boots, either. Some soldiers wear brown leather boots.
Camouflage is mainly dot patterned, and several Vallejo colors are used. When they partially wear camouflage, they look like Waffen SS at the war’s end.
Looking closely, I see a little field gray uniform on the hem because he is wearing a cold jacket over his regular uniform.
Unlike the winter of 41, the snowsuit looks sturdy.
I took the opportunity to line it up with the Tiger tank completed the other day. It’s a confusing time right before the end of the war, so I think it fits with this tank.
I feel like it’s getting harder to look at the details as I get older. Maybe I should take out a large loupe that I had stashed.
