There are several Imperial Japanese Army tanks of Finemolds; I’ll try this Type 2 Hoi destroyer.
IJA Type 97 Chi-Ha Medium Tank Track Set of Vision models immediately disappeared from the market. I found and bought three boxes at the end of last year. I’ll use one of them.
The underside is almost the same as the one with which CHIHA I made before, so it’s no problem in particular.
Six-tracker rollers aren’t so troublesome.

The photo-etched parts are not used, but the mold of the parts is sharp. The muffler cover is thin and realistic.
Generally, the body was built. It is a good impression with the kit, which is easy to assemble.
It contains a reasonably detailed manual. Finemolds is a manufacturer having a fondness for the Imperial Army tanks.
The inside of the cupola is reproduced finely, too.
I don’t know why, but there is a female student figure in this kit. Such a figure is good, but the high-quality tank crew was 100 times more favorable for me. Of course, it’s my personal opinion.
I tried to wound the belt caterpillar. Since the pitch is not wide as the T-34 series, the curve of each track doesn’t appear very much. Having the slack in the center, between the upper side rollers, will be hard.
Ordinary people do not understand the difference that an enthusiast is excited about. So I think the belt is no problem, but try using one of the Vision track sets. I have three stocks.
The box side of this kit is small, like a snack bonus. I was surprised that there were a few parts when I opened them. It does not mean I disparage it.

Assembly is now almost complete. The number of parts is not much, and it’s not complicated.
It is a workable track link zoomed up. You may not know the difference between the belt and these tracks.
It is easy to make a slight slack. For the belt caterpillar, it is hard, but I can adjust the super glue to the top roller and the belt track.
The design knife opened the exhaust muffler outlet, and it’s more realistic.
Although the Vision package said it contained the extra tracks, after all, I have only three tracks remaining. It is a tragedy if it lacks them. Differ in how to wind?
It is a large turret. Compared to this, the gun barrel is so small. I don’t have a strong impression.

My sub-notebook computer, which has been used for about seven years, was broken. I bought a new one. The CPU is from Celeron Dual-Core to Intel Core i7 and SSD. It’s very comfortable. Maybe it became fast as 20 times. My wife is the main user, so I hope she is gratified. Thanks to the workers of shop and delivery during the Golden Week.
Imperial Japanese Army Tank camouflage color set of Creos was very handy. I could paint the camouflage with minimum exertion. I confirmed the color to paint on each cap, in case I ran out of some of them, next time I challenged to make a color mixing. I’m sure it’s user-friendly to sell the set colors separately, but I would like to request it strongly from Mr.Hobby Creos.
I tried to reproduce the caked mud mixed with pastel and matte medium for the front, back, left, and right of the chassis. I quit rubbing the mud in the caterpillar because I thought it was too much weathering for a single-item display.
On the side was wearing mud moderately.
It is in masking. The sol is very easy to use because the mask peels off clean.
I wonder if there was no yellow band on the camouflage late in the Greater East Asia War. Maybe I could paint the camouflage pattern proficiently with a good three-color balance. But distinctive color shade makes the atmosphere of the Imperial Japanese tank.

The Imperial Army Tank HOI was completed. These days I was a little lazy in a renewal.
Since it was quite an old movie, I saw the Japanese title name is “TIME JUMPER,” a Russian movie. The Russian original title is “My iz budushchego”; the translation is “having come from the future,” maybe. The content is a time travel science-fiction movie. I thought it was the movie of time hopping between present and past and future many times, but it’s different entirely. It’s 90% war and 10% SF.
There is the propaganda message of patriotism, but it’s fascinating content. I want to recommend it to a war movie fan. I’d like to see more Russian movies not introduced in Japan so much.
It took more than five years from development to mass production. Even I said that in mass production in 1944, only 30 cars were made. Because The Greater East Asian War started on the way and resources were assigned to the development of the airplane and battleship, the higher priority items.
The 30 tanks also prepared for the coming mainland battle without being put into actual fighting because it was kept till the end of the war.
I like the color of the Imperial Japanese Army Tank camouflage color set of Creos. The mixed colors are also tricky, so it’s good that they can be painted easily.
At the bottom of the front armor, I expressed the sticking mud like the 3D effect.
A caterpillar of the vision contributes to a rise in the details. When you can thrust at slack with a belt, I’m worried whether it can’t be cut with the way, but there is no such worry; it’s also good for mental health.
The body is the same one as the medium tank CHIHA.
A red tail lamp and rusty orange muffler are good accents when it’s seen from the rear.
A commander hatch isn’t glued together. It’s possible to open and shut.
I painted the inside of the hatch in parched grass color.
There are only minor star marks and manufacturing label decals.
The jack is a mixed color of red, Brown, and khaki.
The underside weathering. The shade changed a little.
When clear parts of a headlight are installed, the appearance from the front becomes good.
I felt the main gun was too small. It doesn’t seem strong, but it’s one of the valuable collections of the Empire of Japan Army tanks.
