Amusing Hobby’s Object 279, besides being released from Panda Hobby and Takom, there are rumors that Amusing’s is hard to assemble the most among the three companies. By the way, I’d like to assemble Takom, but now I only have Panda and Amusing on hand.
Assembly instructions are assembled starting from the upper part of the body. After all, I started from the bottom as I was concerned about the four-line caterpillars. The angle of the axle of the track wheel seems to be able to choose either the low or high position of the suspension. If you fine-tune it, you can fix the axle in the middle. I selected a high-position angle.
It is hard to understand the instruction, but it may be wrong if we don’t let the suspension bulge downside.
I think it’s better to get stability by first fixing the two large panels with 24 suspensions and after adjusting the angle of every suspension and wheel.
I tried to confirm whether the pitch of the sprocket wheel and the caterpillar track was just sized. There seems to be no problem.

Caterpillar is cut out individually and assembled by inserting pins from both sides and fastening. This small pin does not fit in the hole at all. It may be that the molding is misaligned or the pin is slightly too thick. After all, all the track holes were enlarged with a 0.8 mm drill one by one. I tried connecting eight pieces to try. I’ll make four caterpillars of the length up to the place of the right nipper; I feel dizzy. It is excellent whether all the modelers who completed this kit carried out this activity.
Right now, the third track link is being assembled. I think the mold is sharp and a pretty good caterpillar if there is no time to expand the hole to insert the connection pin.
After all the caterpillar belts have been wounded, they are fixed with pouring adhesive. I fixed two of them inside solidly without becoming too nervous. The caterpillar at both ends was adjusted to have natural slack. However, I made it up from 80 pieces of the manual designation and shortened one track piece because it was too loose.
The photo-etched parts are used in many places, and assembling other than four-track belts isn’t easy. Many explanations are unclear about how to install parts and installation locations. I wonder if there is no way because it is the first release item of Amusing Hobby, or did they rush to release it to compete with Takom and Panda from the first product?

The kit contains a jig for assembling caterpillars. It is a personal preference. I think that it is faster to build it with double-sided tape.
The muzzle brake of a gun barrel in this direction is misunderstood by 90 degrees when made according to the instruction. I want them to stop these traps.
Like most tanks since World War II, this tank also has a long barrel.
Because the four-track belts are rare, I took a lot of pictures.

Since wire rope is not attached to this kit, you must prepare your favorite rope from somewhere. This time I used twisted yarn made of nylon.
Mat Medium was mixed with earth material (small sand) and painted on the bottom of the tank. I have been using it a lot this time. I usually do not add soil and dirt so much. I am worried. What will happen?

The four caterpillars are fascinating items, like a tank plastic model. Object 279 was a prototype tank developed in the 1950s. Because of this structure, the ground pressure was low, and the mobility seemed high. The moving picture runs on muddy roads and steep slopes without difficulty when you see the moving picture.
The tank body, like the disk, is designed not to overtake the blast. By the way, this tank was thought to operate under nuclear war. It will be able to act both in the nuclear missile blast and the radiation-contaminated area.
In the 1960s, the political leadership of the Soviet Union changed, and the cost of Object 279 was too high, so the plan was canceled. After all, only one prototype was made. The main gun was 130 mm, the machine gun was 14.5 mm, and it had powerful arms.
What if the inner caterpillar is broken?
By the way, there are assembly instructions, but there is no painting instruction at all. I only painted it with Russian Green; maybe the box picture is enough for painting, but I wanted some information if possible.
I made expressions that a little dry mud adhered to the lower hull of the tank. I lightly rubbed mud on the caterpillar, and when I started painting, I noticed much mud was attached.
Interestingly, the shape of the body around here is unique.
From the front, the atmosphere resembles Gundam’s mobile armor, Big Zam. “Once Object 279 goes into mass production, we’ll crush NATO!” like Dozle Zabi. Moreover, I think it resembles the head of Kanegon of Ultraman’s monster.
It was good that an attractive vehicle was added to my page. However, I don’t want to build tracks of pin type for a while. I felt my finger hurt when I drilled so many holes.
I built the first Amusing Hobby kit. I thought it was a difficult struggle and a hard-fighting kit. I heard about the previous reputation. Apart from the precision of the kit, it was good not to be a kit that required difficult work. It is a kit you can enjoy casually if you do not say the details.
