It is a standard kit of Zero Fighter. I think it included two aircraft, as usual, but the package was written only one.
Because this Zero fighter did not have a pitot tube, I sharpened metal wire and thinned it to attach it.
Though it was small, I masked it in a canopy with effort. Does completeness rise compared to the last time build?
I add things like the brake pipe with extra-fine metal wire.

All masking of the canopy was over. Because there are many frames, it is hard and detailed work.
All the parts I can assemble are built before the painting.
I painted the undersurface, a cowling, and the propeller by airbrushing. I decided on the canopy, firstly, cockpit color, and next, body color.
I painted it a dark green base color.
Because one of the Japanese flag decals got wrinkled on the way and ruptured, I cut the spare Japanese flag decal just a little and covered it in the damaged area. The damaged area was not much attracted afterward when I spread the decal fit like a pool of water on the wing and softened these markings.

Many kits of the 653 FLYING GROUP 166 FIGHTER SQUADRON have been released, including the other scales.
The 653 FLYING GROUP is the aircraft carrier squadron that participated in many strategies, such as the Southern Operations at the opening of WWII and the battle of the Philippine Sea.
Generally, I did the washing and inking lightly.
The antenna wire is a metal wire. I made the pitot tube with a thin metal wire.
I sharpened the side of the leg cover. But maybe there’s no effect.
A canopy could be painted a little more beautifully than last time. I want to finish it a little neater.
The underside was done with a bit of inking.
The yellow band on the wing front was fixed with a brush later because the decals did not completely fit.
It’s small, so it’s possible to put on a mirror. A characteristic decal in the back also looks good.
Though the small scale is incredible, I want to make a larger scale next time.

I am interested in models of tanks, airplanes, ships, military figures, I build them little by little when I feel like it. I am also interested in the history of war. My starting is Tamiya’s Military Miniature series in elementary school.
From elementary school through university students repeatedly suspend and restart my modeling, it’s about 25 years of this hobby’s history.
From February 2007 I was quietly doing a site called “Miniature-Arcadia”. It is being transferred to this blog with the same name from December 2016. My update pace is uneven, but please come to see me here occasionally.
