This is Academy's MiG-21MF. This time I chose light brown and dark brown camouflage. I think it is camouflage paint that is often seen in desert areas in the south such as Afghanistan and the Middle East. The weapon of this MiG-21 is one large drop tank in the middle and equipped with Atoll missiles K-13 and K- 13A on both sides.

This is a winter camouflage version of the Messerschmidt Bf109F-4. Marking is I./JG54 flown by Hauptman Hans Phillipp, Krasnogvardeisk, Russia March 1942. The other is JG54 Eastern Front marking. It seems not to be a specific pilot's special fighter.

It's Revell Suchoj S-37. The basic color of the aircraft is 80% matte black and 20% blue. Hmm, is this the unique blackish color of the airplane? When I actually paint it, I can't really distinguish the color. If you look closely, it looks bluish.

This is Hasegawa Sabre of JASDF. The decal is very high quality. The marking is the 8th squadron of the 3rd Air Wing. It is based on Misawa base in Aomori Prefecture, one of the Northern Air Force Air Wings. Silver painting is difficult but sometimes interesting.

This is an Airfix Spitfire. I am glad that plastic model manufacturers in that country are offering kits of famous aircraft that they can be proud of to the world. The Mk. XII Spitfire was deployed only in the 41st Squadron, Royal Air Force Tangmere, Sussex, and the 91st Squadron, RAF Hawkinge, Kent, England. About 100 fighters from other types were modified. The Airfix kit decal can also be chosen from these two squadrons.

The Eduard instruction comments "This aircraft was based with 46th IAP at Vasilkov airfield. Note that this was a VIP aircraft, very carefully maintained, kept clean and polished, in perfect condition. It will be a disappointment to heavy weathering lovers, so be careful with pre-shading and other weathering tricks."

The marking was "Spunky VI" F-4E Phantom II - 34th TFS / 388th TFW Korat RTAFB Thailand. During the Vietnam War, this team had air-to-air missions and bombing missions from Thailand's Korat US Air Force Base.
