This is the U.S. Army Infantry Kit of the Vietnam War released from Master Box. I will try to build it. Previously, I made Dragon’s M48 tank. It will be nice if I arrange them side by side.
This kit, I was surprised it included seven heads, even though the kit is 4 figure set. Everyone has a good expression. I think I will change it to resin heads this time; I’m keeping these heads and using them in the future if the other kit heads are not so good quality. Everyone in the Master Box figure is a serious face. It is a face that generally seems to pass each other in town instead of handsome movie stars.
Many hats are attached. A patrol cap, field cap, covered helmet, and Boonie hat are prepared. Moreover, there are two kinds, and the width of the collar is subtly different. Since the figure’s appearance changes dramatically with a hat, the enthusiasm for this kit is excellent.
More than one hand and foot are prepared for a figure, and there are variations of a pose in combination. I think that it’s an excellent system to be able to make a little originality.
The soldiers carry the radio and the large backpack. They are equipped with a lot of equipment.

The attached figureheads are very good.
It’s unexpected; many parts are small. When a grenade is hung on a chest, they seem to be a soldier of the Vietnam War.
I replaced the head. The toothbrush is used to remove shavings. Compared to a toothbrush, 1/35 size is tiny.
I finished it with brush painting, so I’m blowing #1200 surfacer.

The U.S. Army adopted the “Search & Destroy” strategy in the Vietnam War. This strategy uses a small military force for searching, discovers a combat troop and a base of the Communist forces, and uses a helicopter to attack them with a mobile power unit. This figure’s theme is the reconnaissance infantry.
In the early stage of the Vietnam War, U.S. Army was in trouble with the guerrilla operations of the Vietcong Guerrillas and the North Vietnamese Army. The Communist side adopted a guerrilla fight that attacked a supply line and sneaked an attack on the U.S. Army and the South Vietnamese Army. However, there are many military forces but inferior in attack power.IU.S. Army
Vietnam and its surroundings were long and narrow in the north and south, and there were many mountainous areas and jungles, so it was a scattered base of the U.S. Army. There were many combats, such as guerrillas or ghosts, that the Communists attacked from nowhere.
By the way, I think the second half of the films “Full Metal Jacket” and “Platoon” was close to this search-and-destroy mission. Compared to them, “Hamburger Hill” was a large-scale battle. I do not remember the particulars.
Sometimes U.S. soldiers used AK-47s captured from enemies. I used the attached M16. Even though AK 47 was covered with muddy water, it was less faulty and preferred. The AK-47 assault rifle was favored because it had a few failures, even if it wore muddy water.
Radio is an essential item that affects life and death. In the movies and dramas of the Vietnam War, some scenes frequently escape from the siege using helicopters, etc., in contact with the radio.
There was a lot of equipment, and it was challenging to paint. It’s green and khaki, and some areas, points, straps, and belts were slightly changed. The four figures are unique equipment, and the pose, building, and painting were interesting.
This soldier has a shotgun with both hands and over the shoulder with the grenade launcher.
Looking at the package, it is an elite soldier of the LRRP. Soldiers who have heavy machine guns may be different from others. By the way, LRRP refers to Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol. It was deeply infiltrated into the enemy-controlled area and was responsible for guiding and evaluating destruction work and bombing, assassination, etc.
It seemed like a memorial photograph with two pairs of proud faces.
The virtual money of 58,000,000,000 yen meets a hacking in Japan, and it’s a big fuss. I am not trading, but I am still worried. The possibility of being used for missile development in a particular country is also considered. The ability to settle for cheap handling fees around the world is terrific. However, if the rate is not stabilized, there is too much risk as wealth accumulation. I hope it will not be like an old tulip trading in the Netherlands.
