This is a resin figure I bought a long time ago. This time I made some German army figures.
I’ve been painting it halfway through since the end of last year, but even if I leave it on the shelf, it falls over and gets in the way when I take out other things, so I thought I’d paint it all the way through.
It’s a resin figure of Marshal Rommel. The scale of the figure of Andrea Miniature must have been 1/32. I can’t really tell the difference when I put it next to other 1/35 scale figures. As he is a marshal, the decorations of the rank badge and cap are gorgeous. It’s a marking that I don’t usually see. I couldn’t decide what color to use for various parts such as jacket and trousers. It was painted to look a little faded during the operation in North Africa.
Evolution Miniature German tank crew. Maybe it’s midsummer. He’s wearing a shirt. Pose looking into binoculars. The wrinkles on his shirt and pants are fine. In particular, the trousers look a little baggy, which makes him look like a tank crew. This is a very fine molded figure from a manufacturer. It is easy to paint but still difficult to brush small parts.
This is also an Evolution Miniature tank crew figure, in winter clothes. He’s wearing a sheepskin-like fur jacket. These are dapper winter camouflage pants.
The last one is an ordinary infantryman, a soldier equipped with an MP40. He wears a scarf around his neck. Since the submachine gun is hanging from the neck in a relaxed pose, a small firearm strap was added.
In Japan, a video of a McDonald’s store staff hurling abuse and intimidation has become a hot topic. The person who seems to be the manager is furious about the customer’s trivial complaint. I used to live in this city more than 30 years ago, and I miss this shop because I have been there many times. I feel sorry for the staff around him who follow up every time, even if it is a special employment position that is unique to the FC store. It looks like a developmental disorder or a mental illness. There’s something called a brain disorder that makes people rage easily, so they should recommend a hospital if they notice it. It doesn’t look like the level to be improved by anger management.
