This is a French Army infantry and bicycle kit released from Master Box. I bought it because I thought it was rare when it was released. I completed a French tank the other day and will make it related to France.
The photo-etched parts are used for small parts such as spokes; it looks very good at first glance.
This is part of a French soldier wearing a coat. The quality seems very good, as usual.
I tried halfway. If you are familiar with photo-etched parts, I think it is easy. But it isn’t easy to make it beautiful.

The angle of the figure arm and fine adjustment of the handle determines the shape.
It is a standard bicycle handle, not a drop handle like a Roadracer or a Randonneur. It looks sturdy for military use.
Since the photo-etched parts are used well, I think the balance between the easiness of making and the precision is well balanced.
I painted some small parts. The color of the tire was too bright even though it was rubber.

The French infantry and the military bicycle have been completed. I can’t say that I painted it well on the small parts. I painted it the way I wanted. Is it an official military bicycle?
The uniform is called the M1932 overcoat, and they wear helmets and leggings on their foot.
When I was playing a PC war game called Panzer Campaign, I remember the Dutch army operating a rather large bicycle unit.
I wish I could have improved the headlight.
This military bicycle seems to be suitable for the diorama accent. I don’t know if a single modeler would like to make it, but the photo-etched parts are practical, so it’s interesting. I was satisfied after I made one model. But I have the German army bicycle kit of Master Box.

I am interested in models of tanks, airplanes, ships, military figures, I build them little by little when I feel like it. I am also interested in the history of war. My starting is Tamiya’s Military Miniature series in elementary school.
From elementary school through university students repeatedly suspend and restart my modeling, it’s about 25 years of this hobby’s history.
From February 2007 I was quietly doing a site called “Miniature-Arcadia”. It is being transferred to this blog with the same name from December 2016. My update pace is uneven, but please come to see me here occasionally.
