I am now trying to build the Sherman Tank of the Dragon Models. When saying a Sherman Tank, I mistook watching the movie “The Fury of Flame battlefield,” it’s a direct translation from the Japanese title. I believed and waited for Sherman and Brad Pitt to come out sooner or later after I had finished watching 90 minutes and felt a sense of helplessness… The battle of M18 Hellcat and Panzer III? Moreover, it’s a local encounter in almost the last stage of WWII. I got the wrong movie to watch from the beginning.
However, the original title is “Saints and Soldiers: The Void”; there’s no word of “Fury.” How to put Japanese titles is like the thing for the mistake of Japanese consumers intentionally. I felt the malice of the fraudulent business. The contents are ordinary. A uniform, tools, and a story are passing points. The battle scene is not good. And both the U.S. and German tanks are too beautiful. I write it again; the director has neither the malice nor the problem. I think it’s terrible the domestic distributors and agents in Japan thought the Japanese title at that time was almost the same as “Fury.” I felt it wasn’t friendly to a producer.
It was a complaint above; there are many parts in Dragon Model’s Sherman tank; Work is proceeding.
I do not understand the historical investigation of this Sherman well, but I like the parts because the mold is very sharp.
I am checking the winding up of a belt caterpillar. I can adjust the tension of the caterpillar a little, moving the rear wheel position.
Whether the storage condition was terrible or had been bent from the time of shipment, storage time is too long; I do not know now. The teeth of the caterpillar side of the Dragon styrene have got twisted.

Because I did not seem to be quickly recovered, I cut the standard gear of the invisible parts with a cutter and transplanted them. I think that the appearance is better than twisting unnaturally.
The curved surface along the drive sprocket is a natural feeling.
I adhered here and there and hung down so that a feeling of weight was given generally.
The proper guards are ultra-thin photo-etched parts.

It’s during the assembly of the turret. The mantlet is precise; there is an additional armor. Because the gun is up and down, moving, be careful about the adhesion points.
Roughly the assembly has been completed.
Behind the gun turret, for baggage? I attached the photo-etched belts.
(25-July-2016)
The photo-etched parts, like rivets, are attached to the rear armor. Taillights are also clear parts.
The side is flat. The decal on this armor is elephant marking; I think it’s easy to paste.
Because M4A2 was a diesel engine, it wasn’t deployed so much in the U.S. Army and was given to the Soviet Union and the U.K. But it was used in the Marine Corps.
The assembling is almost completed, and the next is the painting.
(30-July-2016)
A masking sol masked clear parts.
The base paint is black, as usual.
The tank’s surface is wetted with water, peeling off the olive drab and exposing the black, but do not come off very much. I dried acrylic paint too much or used a thin-blowing hair spray.
I pasted the decals on the top clear coating. It is almost completed.

I finished the Sherman Medium Tank.
Finally, I watched a real “Fury” since I mistook the other movie because of a similar title. U.S. Army tank crew was in the mood of war-weariness, and I wanted a few wit lines. The suicide mission-like operation at the end of the battle was disastrous. The tracer shell shooting scene was like a laser beam in an S.F. Tiger; I looked very realistic. Inside the U.S. tank and the military uniform is cool. I wonder if my model is still too beautiful compared with the tank in this movie. Overall, it was interesting.
The armament of this tank is a 75mm gun. When it is a 76mm gun, the gun barrel is more extended and weak. I have heard the caliber length is longer; the power is increased. Is there so much firepower different from the 1mm difference only?
M4A2 is a diesel engine tank provided to the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union based on the Lend-Lease Acts.
Rust has become unnatural. It’s like painting with a brush… I should try a little more variety. But the vehicle will easily be rusted because the island was considerably much moisture.
Weathering is a battle in the islands of the South Pacific; it is an image of the red soil.
Belt caterpillar, Dragon kit belt tracks are called Dragon Styrene? I think it’s pretty good despite the belt.
Because overdoing weathering, peeling off the coating of hair spray technique can’t be recognized so much.
U.S. tanks on the European front suffered from the German high-performance tanks. However, the Sherman against the Japanese imperial army tanks is overwhelming strength. The performance of the Japanese tank was not very well.
My work was going well this time; the barrel was movable up and down, and the turret was around smoothly. Sometimes glue flows to an unexpected place, and it becomes spoiled.
This kit was perfect in that the photo-etched right guard was thin. It may be possible if the work is carefully made from a plastic board. I want to make these thin, delicate curved parts by myself….
The hatch is temporarily attached.
The Japanese Imperial Army attacked at closing to use an adsorption mine and U.S. tanks to prevent the attack. There was a vehicle that passed the thick wooden board on the side. It was at the same effect as the German army of Zimmerit Coating. In some of my books, a vehicle was attached to many small metal bars like a hedgehog on the surface of the turret; it prevented the Japanese soldier from climbing up to the tanks.
The Japanese attack on the U.S. tanks was terrible. Attack to destroy one tank, which put out many killed in action.
The U.S. infantry soldier in the camouflage uniform I built the other day. I feel that also matches the Pacific Front.
It is during the march rather than assault.
With the weathering of the rust, there is a need for improvement. But the painting of the underside is satisfied. Marking is also mesmerizing. Because it was after a long absence, it was pleasant to make a Sherman tank.
