Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma German Armored Car Dragon 1/35

AFV GERMANY

It is a German army’s eight-wheel armored car. It seems like an ancestor of a U.S. Striker. I made it in January 2008.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 BOX PACKAGEI have only made AFV with caterpillar since opening this site, but I will try to make an armored car this time. For me, it is my first time painting German 3-color camouflage.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 MAKINGAnd opened a box, looking at the manual. It seems to be a considerably complex chassis with too many parts. It is a fresh feeling to assemble a new type of kit.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 MAKINGBecause internal was reproduced, assembly and painting were done in a general way. The inside is not to be seen too much though the windows are made all open. It becomes a luxurious structure that can control the back-and-forth direction.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 MAKINGThe assembly was completed. The eight-wheeled armored vehicle is very good-looking! I forgot to attach one of the jerrican belts.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 MAKINGThe photo-etched parts are in this kit moderately; I think it’s a good balance. There is a volume of information and avoiding monotony with considerably a lot of OVE.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 MAKINGThe engine grill can also choose an opening style. The photo-etched part of a star antenna was attached.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 MAKING TANK CREWTwo relaxed German soldiers on the turret.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 MAKING TANK CREWOne is from a Tamiya kit, another is from Dragon, and I changed to resin heads.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 PAINTINGI blow clear only in the space of marking to avoid shining decals.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOThis is armor scout car Sd.Kfz234/2. 234 series was a final type of German armor scout car designed to adjust for various climates. Most were produced in 1944, and the amounts were about 100 cars.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOMarking was the 20th armor division in Bohemia in 1945, one of the examples of this instruction manual. Recently the 20th armor division deplored the Schlesien Bosnia area (Between today’s Poland and the Czech Republic).

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOThis painting was small dotted three-color camouflage. The chroma is considered insufficient for actual painting this time.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOThe steering wheel of this vehicle is all moving, so I shifted the tires a little sliding right and left.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOThis star antenna has an atmosphere of the reconnaissance unit. These photo-etched parts improved the precise feeling.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTO TANK CREWThe silhouette changes if it turns behind the turret, and it’s interesting. It is likely to have retreated, panicking in such a shape because there were control compartments ahead and following both of these vehicles.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTO TANK CREWI think there were various uniforms at the end of the war chaos.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOThe kit’s detail has a precise feeling and doesn’t have the fault. However, when it is posed calm soldier, it doesn’t look like 1945, almost the war’s end.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOThe toolbox was loaded on the back though the jerrican was able to be loaded on the front and the back variously. The two jerricans changed the color to gray for a change.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOI painted in clear orange for the wood part of the OVE. It has become like indoor furniture.

Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA DRAGON 1/35 FINISHED PHOTOI only did the weathering of these eight tires emphatically, not so heavy weathering on the body because of its three-color camouflage. The eight-wheel armored vehicle is pretty good-looking.

Thank you for your interest in my work. But this is a work from many years ago, so I sold it at auction. There are few places to display them, so they are sometimes sold at auctions. This list is on sale now, so please take a look if you like. Buyee is a proxy bidding and purchasing site for Japanese auction sites. Sometimes my items are used at Yahoo Auction via Buyee from overseas.
