It is a German anti-tank soldier of different variations. Now, drones can attack remotely, but until a while ago, they had to be very close to each other to be able to destroy AFVs.
It’s the usual part assignment of the old Dragon figure. It might be difficult to assemble this time because there are heavy weapons.
I want to change the head to a spare resin one to make it easier to paint. It’s no use holding just the head, so I will use it effectively in such a case. I think it’s a Hornet head, I think I bought it by mail order over 10 years ago. I don’t remember much.
There are resin parts mixed in, so I paint primer and blow surfacer.
I’m in the middle of brushing. I haven’t made a figure for a while, so I forgot how to do it. I don’t know if I should have painted the face or something. When I have time, I fill in the leftovers, and before I know it, it’s almost finished. There is no deadline, so I will make it slowly, but I want to finish it in about a week.
I wrote a bit about the bead cushion last time, and I finally replaced the dining room chair with a wooden one, which made it easier to spend time. According to my wife, the “HIROSHIMA” chair of Maruni woodworking is good, and she has been eyeing it for years. As soon as I said that I wanted to buy a new chair soon, she strongly recommended it. It was quite interesting to go to the Maruni Ningyo-cho showroom and see the real thing. It was a stylish showroom. I could only think of wooden chairs from discount shops, but there are many chairs in the world. This chair is good, but it costs a lot, so I guess I won’t be replacing it. No, it’s too expensive, honestly. How many games can I buy… I’m more interested in upgrading the PC parts than the interior, so I wanted to buy a new PC if I had to spend the same money. The word “a mindful life” is popular in Japan, so it may be good once in a while.
When I start making old injection figure kits after making some figures made of resin, I am concerned about the quality of the mold. It might be different if I sharpen the mold a little with a design knife. I thought so, but it doesn’t work very well.
I don’t know if it’s hard to paint because the mold is not clear in some old figures, or if it’s just because I have advanced presbyopia and it’s hard to paint small details, but somehow the detail painting is a little hard.
The Panzerschreck was developed based on the capture from the US army of the Bazooka, an infantry anti-tank weapon used on the African front. Because it was too big and difficult to handle alone, the Panzerfaust was simplified and made lighter. I thought Panzerfaust was developed earlier, but it wasn’t. Panzerfaust means “fist to the tank.”
There are various types of Panzerfaust, and shells were gradually enlarged to increase the armor-piercing power. It seemed to be a pretty effective weapon for tank units without infantry. I recommend keeping a few in the passenger seat in case you get caught in road rage.
All of the resin head helmets had helmet covers, so I painted them camouflage. The feeling of the end of the war somehow increases.
Anti-tank figures in the middle of battle are probably still valuable because they don’t have much resin or injection. Especially, the process of gluing anti-tank weapons to figures was interesting.
In Japan, there is a lot of noise that the heads of famous car manufacturers used the governor to block the construction of the Linear Bullet Train. I understand that there are various opinions, but if it is true, I don’t think it is possible to use the governor to interfere with the business of a railway company which is a private company. The advantages and disadvantages of the linear railway line may be due to the straw effect and the negative effect of the privatization of the conventional line, such as the decline of the local economy.
