All except for a face is being made. The body shape is slightly bulging while wearing a camouflage smock.
The head is a Master Box Vietnam War US soldier, such as the heads kept the surplus to change the resin ones. It isn’t easy to adjust the field cap and match it with the head.

The details of the equipment of the Gen2 series are better, and some things can be changed. Maybe after I paint color to them, you may not understand the difference so much.
Because the detail between the ammunition case and the finger is terrible, I reproduced the handle with brass wire.
I think he is carrying a mortar ammunition case.
I used the remaining part of the Gen 2 kit for the rifle strap. It is a brass belt of photo-etched parts.

Everyone is wearing a camouflage smock. These four soldiers do not have much luggage, miscellaneous sacs and water bottles, combat knives, and firearms. As they are soldiers of the mountain division, they wear climbing shoes.
First of all, I blew flat fresh Tamiya acrylic.
I partially covered it with masking gum and then blew the black surfacer.
There is no particular reason, but this time I will paint a camouflage smock with a bright springy color. Only a light green color, “sky,” was Tamiya acrylic, not Vallejo. The color of the model color of Vallejo has been arranged, but Sky Green was not at hand. I can not paint beautifully if I do not overpaint several times. First, I used an airbrush in black to prevent unpainted gaps, but I think it makes no sense. Then it is easy to apply later using a normal gray surfacer. It is surprisingly hard to paint, leaving only the black belt part.

German Infantry soldiers of the mountain division were completed. Everyone wears a camouflage smock. The paints used are Tamiya Acrylic Sky and Vallejo German Camouflage Medium Brown and Vallejo German Camouflage Dark Green.
As a soldier of the SS, I drew the skull mark on the cap and the SS insignia on the collar. It’s tiny and hard work. It’s a good accent. The skull mark got messed up on the way.
The drawing condition of all eyes is not completely satisfactory.
In the back soldier, the ammunition case, there are ten shots.
This German light mortar, 5 cm leGrW36, was developed by Rheinmetall AG. Complex and expensive but highly inaccuracy.
These two men had poor stability and were usually only lightly held with a peelable adhesive, but this time, I fixed the base with superglue and short metal wire.
The German army used various uniforms, so there were many painting variations. It is fun to make these camouflage smock figures once in a while.

I am interested in models of tanks, airplanes, ships, military figures, I build them little by little when I feel like it. I am also interested in the history of war. My starting is Tamiya’s Military Miniature series in elementary school.
From elementary school through university students repeatedly suspend and restart my modeling, it’s about 25 years of this hobby’s history.
