It is a German army’s eight-wheel armored car. It seems like an ancestor of a U.S. Striker. I made it in January 2008.
I have only made AFV with caterpillar since opening this site, but I will try to make an armored car this time. For me, it is my first time painting German 3-color camouflage.

And opened a box, looking at the manual. It seems to be a considerably complex chassis with too many parts. It is a fresh feeling to assemble a new type of kit.

Because internal was reproduced, assembly and painting were done in a general way. The inside is not to be seen too much though the windows are made all open. It becomes a luxurious structure that can control the back-and-forth direction.

The assembly was completed. The eight-wheeled armored vehicle is very good-looking! I forgot to attach one of the jerrican belts.

The photo-etched parts are in this kit moderately; I think it’s a good balance. There is a volume of information and avoiding monotony with considerably a lot of OVE.
Two relaxed German soldiers on the turret.
One is from a Tamiya kit, another is from Dragon, and I changed to resin heads.

I blow clear only in the space of marking to avoid shining decals.
This is armor scout car Sd.Kfz234/2. 234 series was a final type of German armor scout car designed to adjust for various climates. Most were produced in 1944, and the amounts were about 100 cars.
This painting was small dotted three-color camouflage. The chroma is considered insufficient for actual painting this time.
The steering wheel of this vehicle is all moving, so I shifted the tires a little sliding right and left.
This star antenna has an atmosphere of the reconnaissance unit. These photo-etched parts improved the precise feeling.
I think there were various uniforms at the end of the war chaos.
The kit’s detail has a precise feeling and doesn’t have the fault. However, when it is posed calm soldier, it doesn’t look like 1945, almost the war’s end.
The toolbox was loaded on the back though the jerrican was able to be loaded on the front and the back variously. The two jerricans changed the color to gray for a change.
I painted in clear orange for the wood part of the OVE. It has become like indoor furniture.
I only did the weathering of these eight tires emphatically, not so heavy weathering on the body because of its three-color camouflage. The eight-wheel armored vehicle is pretty good-looking.

Thank you for your interest in my work. But this is a work from many years ago, so I sold it at auction. There are few places to display them, so they are sometimes sold at auctions. This list is on sale now, so please take a look if you like. Buyee is a proxy bidding and purchasing site for Japanese auction sites. Sometimes my items are used at Yahoo Auction via Buyee from overseas.
