I made the figures of the German Africa Corps. All poses are with a sense of tension, such as during reconnaissance.
I added the goggles belt, helmet chin straps, and rifle strap.
Heads are replaced with the resin headset of the third party.
These figures are wet because it is in a dry, washing with a neutral detergent before painting.
Because the left soldier puts a scoop between the belt and waist, there is only the belt of the scoop holder. I used the items which have a good mold from other kits. It is one of the excellent mold items in the Gen2 series, released from Dragon Models many years ago.

This time I began to paint in an aqueous acrylic paint.
I’m worried about whether it’s finished successfully.
Small equipment was painted.

Figures of the German Africa Corps were completed. Because there is an unstable pose of the figure, I tried to tack it onto a piece of wood.
After replacing the lighting with the LED light bulbs, I had tired eyes because of too much brightness. Because the camera setting changes a little, and I’m puzzled. It seems to get brighter as soon as I open the camera’s aperture.
Because I have taken photographs a lot when I try setting in various ways, the significant number is up to the homepage this time.
I tried to choose the portrait photo, but it has been zoomed up bigger than before. I thought the original measure size was enough, even if such a photograph was big.
Only this infantry has an armband of the Afrika Korps. It’s Tamiya’s insignia decal sheet.
He has a pipe-formed explosive like the military engineer. I built it last time.
According to the article, the German Africa Corps’ uniforms initially seem to be olive green. Cloth fades by a severe climate and changes like dark yellow, sand yellow, and buff. Therefore, I used a dark yellow mixed with a bit of green.
It is always like this when compared to an AA battery.
He is a machine gunner. Because he holds spare ammunition in his other hand, it seems to be heavy.
Because I did not understand the painting of the sleeve badge, I left it as I did a dry brushing lightly.
Since the pupil diameter of the Japanese is about 12mm, Caucasian German may be a little larger than 13mm. It is 0.371428mm divided by 35. Well, it’s around 0.35mm or 0.4mm.
I think it’s a pretty good expression.
I imagine he is the superior of the four infantries because he has a submachine gun and binoculars.
Their faces are slightly extended. Because all the members are good-looking, I paint them with a good feeling.
It isn’t easy to recognize the expression of the soldiers with helmets. So sometimes I took the photo from beneath.
He is also perfect to look at; there is a sense of tension.
He has a scarf around his neck to prevent the Sand of the Sahara.
I suppose the appearance improved a little when I changed heads. I used the resin heads after a long absence. Because there are various expressions, the painting process is fascinating.

This list is on sale now, so please take a look if you like. Buyee is a proxy bidding and purchasing site for Japanese auction sites. Thank you very much for liking my work. Unfortunately, Afrika Korps Infantry has already been sold. I sometimes sell military figures as well as tanks and planes at auctions so I would be happy if you could see them again. I’m just making it as a hobby, so I haven’t decided what kind of figure I’m going to make next, but if you find something you like, I’d appreciate it if you could consider purchasing it.
