For the first time, I made whole-body resin figures. The mold is excellent Alpine Miniatures. I made it in March 2015.
I’ll try to make this Alpine figure set. This package sample photo is an excellent masterpiece; though I can hardly do the same thing, I’ll do my best.
Petty officer figure, the mold is perfect. The total parts are fewer than the injection kit. Head is available in two kinds.
This is the officer tank crew. He is holding an operation plan or something in his left hand.
Anyway, I made one figure. It’s marvelous. The face is handsome with a sharp mold. The pistol fits into the parts of the body without any adjustment.

The other officer figure is like this. I like this natural, relaxed standing pose.

I thought whether the left soldier’s uniform base color was slightly too reddish and repainted it. I have just painted the first color of camouflage of the left soldier.
After trial and error, all camouflage patterns are on the way. There are many color mixed patterns, like 3 or 4 colors and small dotted. The German army used many patterns. I imagined the pattern before painting, but after a while, I worked with another kit and forgot the image…

I have finished painting the Alpine tank crew. I painted all with oil painting this time. The camouflage pants are dark yellow, chestnut brown, and dark brown, three colors. The careful work made my eyes sting.
A petty officer is wearing a camouflage uniform. The jacket is a dot pattern, and the bottom is a general camouflage pattern.
It’s hard to recognize his expression on a cap; I took the photo from under. I couldn’t paint too small spots. I am not yet farsighted; I should see nearby places correctly and leave something to be desired…
As it is Ardennes, possibly the right officer is a motif from Colonel Joachim Peiper in command of Peiper Kampfgruppe. They are a member of the 1st SS-Panzer-Division (LAH) Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler.
I suppose it’s an excellent combination of a tank crew in camouflage and a German heavy tank!!

I received the advice that the figure picture is good looking, which was taken from the light 45 degrees upward. Maybe looks more handsome…
Anyway, I need a more detailed painting master is better.
This crispy molded figure is nice if placed next to the tank. Tank and figure look good with each other.
1/35 figure size is almost the same as an AA battery.
