This is the kit of an infantry figure of an Armored Division during the Normandy Invasion. This type of camouflage uniform is rare in the United States Armed Forces. I remember that the helmet of sergeant Sanders was camouflaged in the TV drama “Combat!”.
Small accessories are attached. It’s thin, and a scoop had broken.
Although the mold is not so sharp, extra parts and options heads are attached. There are antitank mines and the bazooka.
The Head is like this. Some helmet camouflage nets come with many small flattery fabrics, which is very interesting.

All four bodies are in almost the same pose. During the patrol. Slightly stereotyped.
The mold of the scoop was poor. I molded them with my design knife.
I gave the first coat black without learning the lesson. After all, it may be ineffective.
I think that the color designation numbers of Mr. Color are different because it is an old kit. Even if I painted with a painting order, it feels entirely different. I tried to based on the XF-21 Sky, Tamiya Color Acrylic.

It is light green camouflage paint. I mixed yellow-green, field gray, and white.
The third color is olive green.
The fourth color is dessert yellow. It’s changing the cool camouflage pattern. I’m getting a pain in my eyes with much color-detailed camouflage.
The last color is red-brown.

European front of World War II. It is a United States Army infantry group. I built four figures posing stroll and holding a Thompson M1A1 submachine gun.
Look closely; this figure wears the helmet backward. I pulled and twisted the resin head forcibly, but it was fixed completely. It’s foolish. It’s just as it is inevitable.
The HBT camouflage uniform had been provided to some troops during the Normandy landings. Still, it was often mistaken as an enemy because it was similar to the uniform of the German Waffen-SS.
It seems no longer used on the European front. It might be a good combination with the Sherman of Tarawa I’m currently making.
I thought there were not many meanings for giving the first coat black. Because there is no concealed power when it is the uniform of the light color, I had to paint many times. Only surfacer blowing is just good, I thought.
US military camouflage uniforms in the infantry were not familiar to me. They were pretty good-looking When I finished them.
