German Waffen SS Infantry Battle of the Bulge D-Day Miniatures 1/35 FIGURE GERMANY

I made a resin figure of the Waffen SS of the German Army. Overall molding is good. Some thin parts are easy to break, so I actually some replace them with different parts.

This figure, wearing a camouflage smock, recreates a soldier recommending cigarettes. He carries a Kar98k rifle on his back and a box of machine gun ammunition in his left hand.

This figure reproduces a soldier wearing a camouflage poncho (Zeldbahn) over his overcoat. On his right shoulder is an M1 Carbine captured from the US Army. Maybe the barrel part is the fate of resin figures, the thin part is fragile and got damaged. I replaced it with a metal wire.

This figure reproduces a Waffen SS NCO wearing tank trousers (overalls) captured by the US Army and also holding a captured M1 carbine in his right hand. He is wearing goggles on his helmet.

After it is finished, if I take it off the paint stand, it will be unstable when I put it on display. Even in a normal standing pose. I cut out a plastic board, paint it and put it on there. It is a board of Tamiya’s white plastic sheet painted in matte black. This is better because it reduces the possibility of damage by touching the wrong part.

The figure shows the Waffen SS machine gunner with an MG42 machine gun slung over his right shoulder and a bullet belt on each shoulder. He has a pistol in his right hand and a shovel in his waist belt. The right knee of the cold weather anorak pants is torn. This is a figure with a lot of attention to detail. That makes painting difficult.

Overall, the camouflage painting pattern is difficult. Since there are various patterns, it is difficult to arrange the number of colors at first, but that is an interesting part of painting German soldiers.
